How Does Tinnitus Go?

Tinnitus  is a continuous or intermittent sound heard by the patient in one ear or two ears when there is no sound in the environment. This voice can often be difficult for patients and can be described in a variety of ways: ringing, waterfall, buzz, buzzing.

There are many factors that can cause tinnitus:
Some of these;
Ear wax
Presbiacuzi (hearing loss due to age)
Perforation of the eardrum
Middle ear infections
Vascular enlargement in head and neck (aneurysm)
Tumor from the vestibulococcal nerve (hearing-balance nerve)
Blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems
Psychological factors, stress anxiety

– Objective tinnitus; It is produced by transmitting the sounds produced in the body to the ear. It can be heard by an observer.
Subjective tinnitus; It can only be perceived by the patient. It is the most common form.

Methods used in the treatment of tinnitus:
Drug treatment is not a very preferred method today because the desired effect   cannot be obtained with classical drug treatments.
The masking device is the device that allows masking the resonance. It is useful in patients with hearing loss and tinnitus by integrating them into hearing aids.

Hearing aids:
It provides benefit in patients with tinnitus along with hearing loss. Hearing aids increase the volume to the extent that the person can hear, thus reducing the effect of the tinnitus.
With the tinnitus therapy mode, it is possible to eliminate the therapies by adjusting the resonance frequency and intensity of the person.In addition to all these methods, different approaches and treatment methods of the specialists can be used.
